Opening of Pławna Bridge
A new bridge in Pławna, gmina Ciężkowice (Lesser Poland Province). Less than six months the drivers were waiting for the opening of a new bridge. A completely new construction with the height of 85 meters replaced one of the last wooden bridges in Poland.
The bridge was one of the key investments in Tarnów district. This is very important for the towns of Pławna and Bruśnik. There were cases when this old bridge was flooded. Now the bridge is considerably raised, and the water from the Biała river will no longer be a danger, so the bridge will be passable at any moment.
The investment cost is nearly 4 million PLN and the project was implemented in less than 6 months.
